Description:

A remarkable chance has emerged to boost Sickle Cell network services in West London by providing Educational leadership. We seek versatile, dynamic, and dedicated self-starters for this role, committed to enhancing practice for Sickle Cell services via education and materials in West London offering an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible difference.
An in-depth knowledge of Haemoglobinopthies, alongside excellent education and communication skills, to bring together stakeholder collaboration is required within the role. A flexible approach and a high level of tact and diplomacy is essential, alongside the ability to understand other cultures, to enable effective working across organisational boundaries and the project includes a number of service providers.
You will have a sound grasp of nursing practice in haemoglobinopatihes and have experience of organising and undertaking training events. A track record of achievement in educational outcomes is sought. The post holder will be an individual with a positive approach; able to problem solve; enjoy working with individuals and teams at all levels; able to demonstrate a broad understanding of Haemoglobinopathy practice issues; have an understanding of action plan development and/or implementation.
The primary role of the post holder is to provide a focal point for developing training materials and to support the network in providing education and training and nursing oversight within the HCC.
The post holder will be capable of working independently without supervision ensuring confidentiality in line with Information Governance requirements. The post holder will lead on the engagement of other Trusts within the network to ensure that all local providers are aware of the resources available through the HCC.
The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the ongoing development of clinical practice, research and standards of care within the HCC. This will include assisting in the development of policies, protocols and guidelines and contributing to service evaluation and developments in collaboration with multi-professional colleagues and external organisations.
