JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate and hard working hair stylist to join our team!
We are looking for folks who are currently working towards or currently have a hair styling license and great customer service skills. As one of our stylists, you will be expected to deliver high quality services and providing a welcoming and positive experience for all clients.

SKILLS

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both clients and team members.
• Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work place.
• Expertise in various hair styling techniques.
• Experience with customer service or front desk operations in a salon or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to engage in retail sales with a focus on upselling products and services.
• Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.

  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: From $17.40 per hour
  Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Work Location: In perso

• Perform various hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
• Maintenance of work stations, tools, and salon areas.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert advice on hair care.
• Aid in front desk responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments, and maintaining shop.
• Engage in retail sales and recommend hair products to suit clients’ needs, while also promoting salon services.
• Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
• Be enthusiastic about continued education and stay up to date on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products.
• Communicate effectively with both fellow stylists and receptionists!
