Hair Stylist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist to join our team at our beautiful salon in the vibrant Ottawa Byward Market. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both cutting. styling and coloring, with experience in hair extensions being a definite plus. We offer flexible compensation options, including chair rental or commission-based pay, with terms negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in hair styling and customer service
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment
• Ability to upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction
• Experience in retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: From $20.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences for hair styling.
• Perform various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments as well as being able to install hair extensions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a smooth operation at the front desk.
