Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hairstylist to join our vibrant team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction. This position offers a commission-based salary structure, allowing you to maximize your earnings based on your performance and dedication.
Responsibilities:
- Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, and other hair treatments according to clients’ preferences and specifications.
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and incorporate them into your work.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every client.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the salon area, including workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage appointment bookings effectively.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and personalized attention.
- Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid hairstylist license or certification.
- Proven experience working as a hairstylist in a salon environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products and treatments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and passion for the art of hairstyling.
- Willingness to continually learn and improve skills.
- Must possess a valid SIN number.
