EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be Smart Serve Certified
  • Leadership and motivational skills an asset.
  • Must be motivated, confident and enthusiastic
  • Willing to work long hours
  • Be courteous, obliging and attentive. Always greet members and guests with a smile.
  • Present a neat and clean appearance at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to:

  • Read and write (English)
  • Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.
  • Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment for several hours at a time.
  • Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time

Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 20 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly. Several hours at a time.

Responsibilities:

  • Treat customers in a courteous, respectful and friendly manner at all times
  • Strive to maintain a first class aesthetically pleasing environment
  • Provide fast, efficient service, anticipating guests’ needs
  • May be require to cook hamburgers, hot dogs , chicken or sausage on the barbeque.
  • Review requirements of tournament/business of the day as per tournament board.
  • Will clean up patio after events.
  • Perform opening duties as assigned (see opening checklist)
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Perform meal and beverages service in accordance with standard
  • assist cooks with preparation when needed
  • Assess customer condition and limit alcohol consumption (Smart Serve Program)
  • Report concerns and/or complaints to supervisor
  • handle payments using cash and the computer
  • perform duties assigned by the supervisor
  • perform other duties as requested
