HANA SQL Script Engineer ( SAP Hana platform )

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Design and build complex HANA SQL Script Stored Procedures
Optimize HANA SQL Script Stored Procedures for performance and efficiency
Work within a dedicated team in the development of cloud-based Java RESTful APIs based on SAP Hana database
Develop and enhance SAP SLT data replication scenarios between SAP ECC and Hana
Complete all stages of the development process, from planning to deployment. This includes hands-on development, testing and deployment via Git
Document stored procedures according to team standards
Work closely with Java Engineers and business analysts to create high volume RESTful API services
Participate in deployment and release activities
Experience using database trace utilities and trace log-file analysis Use HANA studio, DBA cockpit, analyze traces and dumps for memory and CPU consumption

SKILLS REQUIRED :

6- 8 years Expertise in the design and development of Hana SQL Script stored procedures
Expertise in native HANA and HANA Studio hands-on development
Experience in SAP ECC (or S4 Hana) Sales & Distribution data model and business processes
Knowledge/Experience in HANA Modeling
Knowledge/Experience in SAP HANA in-Memory Platform
Knowledge in Data Management with SAP Business Technology Platform
Knowledge/Experience in GitHub
Proficiency and experience in SAP HANA SLT data replication tools
Knowledge/Experience in REST/WebServices concepts
Ability to troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS :

University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
7-10 + years of experience in the development of advanced SQL Script Stored Procedures
Strong software engineering principles, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines and technologies.
Delivering successful projects and customer success
Analytical, detail-oriented, ability to debug problems to find technical solutions
Knowledge of cloud, hybrid and on-prem infrastructures
Ability to perform assigned tasks independently and complete deliverables on time
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of enterprise processes, standards and policies
Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently
Excellent communication skills with the ability to share ideas in both technical and abstracted language
Proficient in English (Written and Verbal)
