About the role
Join our Production Hub team as a Certification Coordinator, responsible for asset certification and contract deliverables coordination on our Sellafield BEP project and you will deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you. As a Certification Coordinator, you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating the production of the Construction Work-Packs (CWPs) used to progressively certify the various structures and elements of the work throughout the construction phase of works scope.
  • Assist the project teams with achieving progressive assurance through the production, compilation and submission of Lifetime Records (LTRs) concurrently with the operational activities.
  • Assist the Construction Quality Manager with the implementation of the systems, processes and controls used in relation to the control of documented information, including output of service and product provision (e.g. traceability and preservation of records and certificates) across all key stakeholders.
  • Understand and comply with documentation requirements and process records through approved workflows within Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Ensure records have passed through Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) review and acceptance.
  • Track, monitor and analyse data and trends related to the progress of construction certificates and lifetime record submissions.
  • Conduct compliance checks on technical documents and operational records to verify the accuracy of information

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

  • Member of Quality function.
  • Responsible for the production of the completion certificates and construction work-packs (CWPs).
  • Coordinating the submission of Lifetime Records (LTRs) on the project, which supports the overall certification and handover of the structures to the Client. This includes all records produced not only by Balfour Beatty but across the Joint Venture and all supply chain partners.
    What you’ll be doing

Who we’re looking for

You will have the following:

  • Strong working experience with Quality Management Systems and working within document/records management on a complex infrastructure project within a highly regulated industry.
  • Excellent track record developed over previous experience/knowledge of processes covering the control of documented information including output of service and product provision (e.g. traceability and preservation of records and certificates) including:
  • Certification and handover, inspection and test plans and associated output records, manufacturing and fabrication, construction experience, knowledge of digital quality assurance systems and/or electronic document and record management systems (EDRMS) and processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK and international standards (i.e. ISO 9001 and 19650).
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in line with the programme/milestone/certification requirements and to work with minimum supervision.
  • Advanced information technology skills.
  • Experience working in databases.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills – able to build and maintain strong relationships, communicate and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
