Description:

We’re Spicy Minds, a fast-paced, mission-driven startup developing solutions to improve mental health for GenZ consumers and their families, particularly those with neurodivergence. We’re seeking a skilled engineer to help us take our proof-of-concept apps to the next level.

REQUIREMENTS

Required

  • Senior-level developer with full-stack experience
  • Proficiency in Javascript or Typescript, an object-oriented programming language and cloud services.
  • Willingness to work with new or unfamiliar technologies
  • Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and unknowns in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment with evolving challenges
  • Right to work in UK
  • At least 2 days a week in the Bristol office with the team.
  • Clean DBS check

Desirable

  • Experience with Flutter/ Dart & GCP
  • Motivated to improve the lives of people with mental health and neurodivergent challenges
  • Prior work in a start up in highly regulated industries (e.g., health tech, finance)
  • Experience using No Code and Generative AI
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a SaMD environment and compliance with ISO27001, ISO13485, DCB0129, IS062366, ISO62304 & ISO14971.

Responsibilities:

  • Build & maintain mobile apps and back-end code
  • Automate CI/CD processes for code, LLM prompts, and infrastructure
  • Make recommendations on the tech roadmap, architecture, platforms, tools, team structure, and best practice methodologies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage & mentor a small engineering & quality assurance team.
  • Move at start-up speed using No Code and GenAI tools while ensuring lean & value-adding compliance with best practice Software as a Medical Device processes
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues during the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the CEO, product manager, UX/UI designers and execute technical solutions.
