We are seeking an experienced Night Handyperson to join our overnight team in the Engineering Department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and more, primarily in guest rooms and Front of House areas.
• Clean and maintain ventilation equipment, including air conditioning coils, ducting, filters, and air handling units.
• Support the Shift Engineer and other tradespeople such as painters, electricians, and carpenters.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on assigned equipment, following the maintenance schedule.
• Prepare daily reports to track tasks, hours, and materials used.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of plant rooms and Engineering spaces.
• Ensure the security and proper use of tools, parts, and consumables under your charge.

WHAT MAKES YOU PERFECT FOR THIS ROLE:

• Previous experience as a Handyperson in a similar-scale five-star hotel or hospitality setting.
• Availability to work from 11 pm to 7 am, including weekends and public holidays.
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to assist the Engineering team.
• Knowledge of fire panels and emergency response procedures.
• Knowledge of correct manual handling techniques.
• Full availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
• Full Australian working rights.
