Required skills and competencies:

  • Master degree in engineering.
  • Good practical technical knowledge, mainly in HVAC, electricity, mechanics and instrumentation.
  • Experience in operations & maintenance organization and management, and in RCM.
  • Experience in managing budgets for operations and maintenance.
  • Good practical knowledge and understanding of OIMS systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of project / Hard Services management and SAP.
  • Practical knowledge of Windows Office environment.
  • Experience in a GMP - Pharma environment.
  • Team leader (guidance to his/her teams) and team player (common initiatives)
  • Decision maker with sound business judgement
  • Self-driven, with a sense of urgency for solving problems and taking action

Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to the Facility Manager.

Main roles include:

  • Lead a team of technical coordinators, including Civil, Electrical, HVAC, Instrumentation and Mechanical, and coordinate purchases with a delegated buyer related to technical operations of the facilities, projects and utilities of the buildings at Organon Heist
  • Lead teams of both employees and contractors in the coordination of projects.
  • Provide guidance and safety and controls leadership for both employees and contractors.
  • Daily cooperate and coordinate with the Technical Supervisor and SSHE responable.
  • Regular contact and cooperation with multiple business line stakeholders, to ensure interruption a flawless execution of projects related to equipment manufacture and modification.
  • Formally represent CBRE in site meetings and committees
  • Participate in safety meetings and committees as technical expert
  • Sponsorship and administration of Organon & CBRE systems
  • Represent Heist in European Organon Hard Services Network
  • Chair of weekly coordination meeting with CBRE coordinators

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of operations, maintenance and repairs of building systems
  • Base building and client requested projects
  • Energy conservation and energy efficiency initiatives
  • Guidance and support to both employees and contractors in technical positions
  • Flawless operations of technical installations (incident free with high quality and reliability)
  • Compliance with, and stewardship of Legal, SHE and Controls requirements
  • Maintenance & operations budget stewardship for technical services and projects
  • Supervision of project management and implementation of site projects
  • Reviews and endorses, and seeks appropriate approval level, in accordance with DOAG of expense and capital appropriations, commitments and invoices.
  • Develops a strategic asset preservation program to ensure assets are managed to provide maximum value.
  • Development of strategy for optimal preventive maintenance, replacement of end-of-life installations, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Implementation of agreed initiatives related to technical services
  • Follow-up until completion of CBRE assigned actions
  • Site emergency response coordination
