Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add a Hardscape Crew Leader to our team in Bedford! QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Hardscape, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions when needed.
- Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of 2-3 labourers
- Train new team members on proper techniques
- Execute hardscape construction projects, including but not limited to patios, walkways, retaining walls, driveways, decks, fences, water features, and outdoor structures.
- Prepare the work area by clearing debris, grading the land, and ensuring proper drainage. Conduct necessary excavation and site preparation activities to create a solid foundation for hardscape installations.
- Help coordinate project schedules and resources to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of hardscape installations. Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Provide guidance and recommendations based on client needs and preferences. Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Adhere to local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements for hardscape installations.
