Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the hardware reliability activities regarding the hardware products within Engineering perimeter.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • 10+ years of Electronics Design and troubleshooting experience:
  • Cabling
  • Grounding techniques
  • Surge Protection
  • Excellent Knowledge of the Electrical Engineering Principles:
  • Power circuits design
  • Analog and Digital Electronic circuits including Microprocessors
  • Telecommunications circuits
  • Engineering tools:
  • CAD system (Autocad Electrical)
  • Multi-meter
  • Oscilloscope
  • Protocol Analyzers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the hardware reliability of the hardware systems in the field
  • Maintain a table with all the hardware returns from the field and the reason for the returns.
  • Prepare and run the monthly meeting of the Failure Review Board
  • Review and maintain the Reliability monitoring process
  • Conduct root cause analyses of failed hardware as required by stakeholders
  • Work closely with the groups in HEM Engineering to coordinate the activities related to the root cause analyses and reliability monitoring.
