Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the hardware reliability activities regarding the hardware products within Engineering perimeter.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- 10+ years of Electronics Design and troubleshooting experience:
- Cabling
- Grounding techniques
- Surge Protection
- Excellent Knowledge of the Electrical Engineering Principles:
- Power circuits design
- Analog and Digital Electronic circuits including Microprocessors
- Telecommunications circuits
- Engineering tools:
- CAD system (Autocad Electrical)
- Multi-meter
- Oscilloscope
- Protocol Analyzers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the hardware reliability of the hardware systems in the field
- Maintain a table with all the hardware returns from the field and the reason for the returns.
- Prepare and run the monthly meeting of the Failure Review Board
- Review and maintain the Reliability monitoring process
- Conduct root cause analyses of failed hardware as required by stakeholders
- Work closely with the groups in HEM Engineering to coordinate the activities related to the root cause analyses and reliability monitoring.
