Description:
THE SKILLS YOU BRING
- Minimum of B.Sc. or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
- Experience in hardware design, simulations, implementation, and verification.
- Experience with standard tools used to perform schematic capture and layout (e.g. Cadence).
- Experience with board level power and grounding layout strategies and implementation for multilayer mixed digital / analog / RF designs.
- Good understanding of board design and manufacturing challenges
- Excellent English communications skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced diverse team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with radio hardware design from architecture through to volume production.
- Design, test, introduce into the factory and support hardware.
- Solve Design problems and provide product solutions and trade-offs.
- Drive continuous improvements of design, processes, and product quality.
- Ensure that design is robust and reliable and account for process variations.
- Encourage/mentor design quality and best design practices/methods.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the design integrate seamlessly with the overall product and meet system-level requirements.
- Prepare lab environment including both equipment and software components.
- Implement test and validation methods for efficient design test coverage.
- Produce documentation as per radio development processes.
- Perform troubleshooting, including support on debugging field return units.
