Description
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated HARDWARE ENGINEER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Turin, Italy.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Extensive knowledge in analog and digital electronics.
  • Previous experience in designing electronic boards based on microcontrollers and FPGAs;
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of programming language for embedded systems (Firmware).
  • Ability to write documentation for design.
  • Knowledge of English language.
  • Experience in handling laboratory Instrumentation (Oscilloscope, Multimeters, Signal Generators, etc.), debugging
  • Knowledge and use of simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, Spice, Simulink, etc.)
  • Experience in consultation and management, regulations
  • Knowledge of the life cycle of a product
  • Aptitude for working in a team and for objectives, good problem solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for work purposes.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Educated to Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical background.
