Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Hardware Engineering Technician, you will be part of an R&D team developing high-speed SerDes PHYs. We are looking for a technician with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the team.

Working in an R&D test lab environment, duties will include:

  • PCB soldering and reworks
  • Maintaining lab equipment in a safe, clean orderly, and operational manner
  • Assembling equipment according to plans
  • Maintaining equipment calibration
  • Coordinating shipping, equipment/lab supply purchasing, and receiving.
  • Using diagnostic equipment to perform testing on test platforms and silicon implementations of high-speed analog integrated circuits.

Requirements

  • Familiar and capable of using PCB soldering tools
  • College diploma in electronics
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office software tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other assets include

  • Experience with lab equipments
  • Software programming experience (Matlab or Python)
