Our client is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio. Their engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for:

• Translate high-level project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures, working with cross-functional R&D, mechanical design, software, manufacturing and support teams.
• Design schematics for individual printed circuit boards and/or complete devices, including FPGAs and microprocessors, power and analog components.
• Build and test prototypes, debug and prepare documentation for manufacturing and support.
