We are currently looking for a HW Quality Assurance Analyst who is eager to work in a product development environment. Hands-on testing of new and innovative product designs is core to this role. As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will be supporting the design and testing of our next generation offering as well as the existing ones. The Blackline Safety System incorporates wearable personal devices, vehicle mounted equipment, satellite and cellular communication channels and an advanced web portal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic designs through rigorous testing and analysis. This role involves working closely with the design and engineering teams to validate hardware components, identify issues, and drive improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive QA testing of electronic hardware designs, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
  • Develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures based on design specifications and industry standards.
  • Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with design engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet quality and performance standards.
  • Identify hardware issues and work with the engineering team to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop automated tests for scaling hardware verification capabilities.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and QA processes. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
  • Support the rest of the Blackline organization with your deep understanding of the Blackline products and services.
