Responsible for leading the teams of engineers and production team, in close collaboration with a software team to ensure seamless hardware-software co-design from inception and the delivery of hardware in accordance with the company’s strategic goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
- 10+ years leading and running multidisciplinary hardware development teams
- Master’s degree in electrical/optical engineering or a similar subject area.
- Experience in all phases of hardware development (concept, specification, development, qualification, and launch)
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Proven project management capabilities, with experience delivering complex projects within budget and on schedule.
- Knowledge of relevant ISO standards
- Critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with C-levels, drive strategic collaboration with Software Developers and Software R&D teams
- Ensure execution of Hardware R&D and manufacturing roadmaps
- Oversee the entire products lifecycles, from concept to commercialization, coordinating all aspects of hardware engineering, including hardware development, testing and deployment
- Evaluate and prioritize initiatives and projects to ensure effective and timely delivery
- Evaluate and formalize all processes related to Hardware R&D
- Manage and optimize Hardware R&D budgets
- Provide technical guidance, lead and develop the teams of engineers and production team
- Drive research and development efforts of subordinates to explore new solutions that can give the company a competitive advantage.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members, with focus on their professional growth and skill development. Establish and promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance of hardware with relevant regulatory standards and requirements.
- Identify and mitigate technical/technologocal risks associated with existing hardware and models to be developed.
