DESCRIPTION
You will become part of a hands-on development team that nurtures engineering excellence and creativity. On the team you will engage with a rewarding variety of responsibilities: - Being the technical lead for advising on system architecture, driving HW system design and implementation and product development life cycle. - Leading system schematic design, PCB layout and component selection and being the technical champion for all design reviews. - Driving detailed HW and silicon validation planning, influence its execution. - Collaborating with wide range of multi-functional teams involved in the product design and manufacturing process at Apple.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant proven experience
- Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals with experience in prototyping, hardware bring-up, bench instrumentation and validation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Experience with audio, wireless and sensor integration
- Experience with high speed design / signal integrity including validation experience with VNA TDR and familiarity with various data protocols: USB, UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, SWD
- Intuitive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Microcontrollers, power (DC-DC converters, battery and power management), mixed circuits
- Experience with firmware / embedded systems
- Product lead experience with wide HW design background, aspires to lead and drive technical initiatives
- Having a willingness for international travel up to 25% as the need arises
