Description:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
§ Applicants must be 16 years or older, have work permit consent, and eligible to work in the United States
§ Applicants must be actively attending one of the City Colleges of Chicago
§ Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours pre-credit or credit classes
§ Applicants must be pursuing an approved educational credential, degree, or certificate
§ Applicants must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA (waived for first semester new students)
§ Applicants must be in “good standing” – no City Colleges of Chicago academic restrictions
§ Applicants must not be current Full or Part-time employees of the City Colleges of Chicago
§ All positions are “employment at-will”

This position works closely with the staff of the Office of Research and Planning who are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and detail-oriented student to assist with data and office management task. Although no experience is necessary, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to learn more about higher education administration and research
- Ambassador will perform basic word processing and data operations in Word and Excel.
- Will assist with planning and executing events.
- Perform general office tasks including: organize incoming data requests, emailing correspondence, outreach calls, serve as a tour guide or event support during recruitment events.
- Performs other duties as assigned or apparent
