POSITION SUMMARY

SE Health is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HCM Business Analyst to join our Business Transformation Team to support the successful implementation of new HCM Solution. As a key contributor to our team, you will help translate HR needs into system requirements, partner with stakeholders across departments, and ensure our transition to Workday aligns with strategic HR and organizational objectives.
Reporting to the HR Product Director, the Business Analyst will play a key role in transforming SE’s HR function by leveraging their expertise in the HR domain and by collaborating with SE’s HR team.
This position is in support of SE Health’s strategic transformational initiative. This people-focused transformation journey is aimed at solidifying SE Health’s technology, processes to re-imagine how the company can continue to provide excellent experiences for clients and staff, streamline processes, set the business up for future growth, and deliver Hope and Happiness at scale.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in HCM or HR systems projects, ideally with Workday.
  • Experience in business transformation, process improvement, or change management in HR.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business needs into system requirements.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and understanding of HR practices and processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification or hands-on experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Post-secondary education, with a degree in Information Technology, Human Resources or related field, is preferred (equivalent education and experience will be considered)
  • Healthcare experience will be an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to HR processes and systems.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate current HR processes and recommend improvements to optimize for Workday’s capabilities, including automation and best practices.
  • Solution Design: Translate HR and business needs into configuration requirements, creating functional specifications and workflows.
  • Data Migration Support: Partner with data management teams to identify, cleanse, and migrate data into Workday, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test cases for Workday configurations, integrations, and workflows; manage UAT and address issues to ensure readiness.
  • Change Management & Training: Assist with change management activities, including end-user training, communication plans, and documentation.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide support during go-live and stabilization, addressing user queries and troubleshooting system issues.
