We are seeking to recruit for the position of Head Chef/Kitchen Manager at our Aspers Westfield Stratford City site. Asper’s Casino is a fantastic and modern Casino with 2 bars and a team of floor servers delivering our food and drinks throughout the venue.
Expanding the Food and Beverage offer – we are looking to add great people to our ever-expanding team. Looking to grow our current food offering and even expand to multiple onsite kitchens to service the variable food options we cater to.

You will be:

  • Self-starting, a natural hospitality pro, hardworking, and guest-focused to ensure a first- class guest experience
  • Focused on the details, from a great plate of food through to health and safety, ensuring that we deliver the highest standards and create happy guests who want to stay longer and keep coming back!
  • Able to work independently and adapt to the times to develop the right offer
  • As head chef, you will lead the team to success and will be fully responsible for kitchen due diligence, H&S, and paperwork

Selection Criteria (Essential)

  • A head chef who can lead, develop, and engage our team from Chefs to Wait Staff
  • Strong knowledge of Food related profit and loss in regard to;
  • Margin
  • Stock Control and Ordering
  • Supplier negotiation
  • A menu developer, someone who can
  • Source, cost, and spec menu dishes
  • Develop our gaming menu, bar menu, and help lead us back into fine dining restaurant quality
  • Lead a team to produce high-quality buffets on a scale of 50 to 500!
