QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, ideally within a 2 Rosette or equivalent environment.
- Expertise in event catering and managing large-scale functions.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and inspire your team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, with knowledge of allergen regulations being a plus.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in creating and delivering top-notch banqueting events, ensuring every occasion is executed flawlessly. Your leadership will uphold the 2 Rosette standard that our guests have come to expect and admire.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the kitchen team in delivering outstanding banquet experiences, overseeing everything from planning to the final plate.
- Create and refine banquet menus, focusing on innovation and the use of seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure every dish meets the 2 Rosette standards for taste and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff rosters, inventory, and supplier orders.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to guarantee smooth service for all banqueting events.
