JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of food safety and production processes. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu items that appeal to diverse clientele.

  • Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
