KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To continuously implement new core concepts, limited time only offers and innovation both on the high street, nationally and internationally, with relevance to Compass to ensure Compass & Deloitte are leading the way when it comes to food.
  • Assist and provide hands on support in the mobilisation of new sites and refurbishments.
  • Drives, supports, and coaches colleagues in line with company standards.
  • Supports units to achieve a consistent GP through accurate delivery of concepts, offers and procedures.
  • Works alongside the unit manager to drive sales by implementing innovative concepts and operational best practices.
  • Builds strong relationships and works with colleagues to always develop & inspire.
  • Overall, Purpose of the Role:We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to manage one of Restaurant Associates prestigious accounts based onsite in Manchester. The ideal Head Chef must have excellent craft skills, be creative, passionate and love offering good food and excellent customer service with the assistance of a motivated team.The Head Chef will be managing the kitchen operation. The Head Chef will be responsible for the delivery of client hospitality and events to brand standard, whilst managing excellent relationships with the Stakeholders and Senior Managers. The Head Chef will be expected to work to very high standards, offering high end fine dining and events utilising the best local produce. As the Head Chef you will need to be hands-on. You will support the team in the delivery of excellent customer service, food quality and operational excellence.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Passionate about food and food trends
  • Craft based, with significant understanding of local supplier network and procurement sustainability
  • Proven ability to share information on the latest food tends with informed commentary relevant to the audience.
  • Relatable experience in working both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Understanding/experience in food, menu, and recipe development. With significant experience in fine dining & events.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to learn company specific IT software.
  • Ability to work flexibly. With a willingness to travel to other Regional sites in the contract, UK wide.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with multiple projects.
  • Excellent time management skills, relating to both culinary and administration
