Description:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, and staff management. If you have a passion for creating delicious dishes and leading a team, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a chef who is professional and able to start immediately!
Duties:
· Oversee operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
· Prepare various Nigerian & Western fusion dishes as well as specific dishes such as: steak, lamb chop, and various types of pasta dishes
· Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
· Manage inventory and communicate with management when supplies needed
· Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute special events or promotions
· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience:
· Previous experience working in a restaurant & lounge or similar food service establishment
· Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various culinary techniques
· Expert knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
· Proven leadership abilities and the ability to effectively work within a team environment
· Proven organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-volume environment
· At least 3 years within a chef position

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
