HEAD CONCIERGE
We are welcoming a skilled supervisor/head concierge professional to lead our team in a residential strata building in Richmond. Bring your passion for customer service and proven experience as a supervisor to this important role. We are expanding. Grow your career with us.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Head Concierge is a front-line leader and plays a meaningful role in the effective management of a large residential strata building, works closely with an on-site Building Manager and the property management team to offer the customers administrative support, facility security & safety management, and coordinate, as necessary, building emergency activities.
Location: Richmond
Days: MONDAY TO FRIDAY
Shift: Day shift
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum one (1) year of experience leading a team: supervising, training, and developing staff, and addressing performance issues
- At least one (1) year experience working in security, hospitality, or facility management
- Valid British Columbia Security Licence
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Passionate about helping people
- Familiar with Strata Property governance.
- Basic understanding of residential hi rise mechanisms
- Experience writing reports and preparing documentation for bylaw infraction arbitration
- Able to direct a fire watch,
- Understanding of fire panel basics
- Can understand fire plans and fire procedures
- Knows how to deal with elevator entrapments
- Skilled in resolving conflict and customer concerns
- Professional, discreet, and hold the highest respect for people’s privacy
- Confident in your verbal interactions
- Flexible in responding to changing demands
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a diverse team
- Empathetic and an active listener, able to handle difficult conversations
- Effective manager of time and tasks, with proven ability in a fast-paced environment
- Able to conduct patrols, on-site and perimeter
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Office

Responsibilities:
The Head Concierge leads a team of 10+ customer service and security professionals, offering support, training and development, and serves as a role model for the team. You will provide on-site administrative support, coordinate building emergency response, and act on security and safety concerns.
You will work directly with a designated CMI Operations Manager to maintain and enhance concierge and security services.
