MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7).
  • Registration with a professional Human Resource Association would be advantageous.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 10 years’ experience as a Human Resource Generalist (HR Value chain exposure) of which 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience of successfully leading a team during challenging times.
  • Knowledge of Organisation Design and Development principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of Statutory requirements and Service Level Agreement framework.
  • Competent knowledge of HR Best practices

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Workforce planning and talent forecasting
  • Lead change management initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes
  • Manage performance management process
  • Develop and execute talent management and succession planning
  • Enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs
  • Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
  • Lead HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
  • Support organizational culture and values
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on the latest HR trends within the industry and globally.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with business objectives while promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment. You will ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and provide expert consultation to senior leadership on HR-related matters. This role also involves supporting our organization’s employment equity initiatives and reinforcing our culture and values.
