Description:
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the charity’s visibility and reputation while driving fundraising efforts.
Corp Comms
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to promote the charity’s mission, programmess, and events.
- Create and manage content for various channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, website, and annual reports.
- Coordinate and manage the Foundation’s public relations activities, including responding to media inquiries and crisis communication.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality messaging.
Fundraising
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to achieve annual revenue goals.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organisations.
- Organise and manage fundraising events, including planning, promotion, logistics, and follow-up.
- Prepare compelling grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor correspondence.
- Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring accurate records of donations and communications.
Job Requirements
- Experienced in corporate communications, fundraising, or a related role, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising, including experience with grant writing, event planning, and donor relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
