Description:
Tasks and powers: The Head of the University Media and Relations Department is responsible for the following:
1- Introducing the college’s mission and objectives, and all its services and scientific, cultural, sports and social activities according to the directives of the Director of Student Affairs and Media.
2- Coordinating the organization of information on the college’s website, and providing it with the required data and services, according to what is in effect in similar universities and colleges.
3- Following up on the production of brochures, leaflets and guides introducing the college’s programs and various activities with the concerned parties, according to the approved data and plans.
4- Following up on the production of the college’s quarterly printed Harvest Bulletin, issued by the University Media Division in the department, and following up on its affairs with the head of the division.
5- Following up on the organization of all advertisements related to the college’s work and activities according to the approved.
6- Following up on the college’s organization of general cultural seasons, and celebrations of days and occasions, in coordination with Student Affairs and the Student Council.
7- Follow up on the college’s receipt of invitations from non-academic civil society institutions related to the college’s request to contribute to its various cultural and awareness activities, and its contribution to community service activities, and deal with them according to the rules.
8- Follow up on receiving requests for paid legal and Sharia consultations from governmental and private institutions, and deal with them according to the rules.
9- Work on developing partnership contracts with labor market institutions related to the college’s specialization, and organize paid training courses and programs, aiming to raise the competencies of workers in those institutions, in coordination with the Continuing Education Center at the college.
10- Follow up on stimulating student volunteer work in coordination with community institutions and initiatives.
11- Communicate with institutions and bodies working in the community to offer to provide college services related to spreading knowledge and raising awareness of the culture of civil and community commitment, in accordance with the plans approved by the Student Affairs and Media Department.
12- Prepare all communication requirements required by the college’s relations with others, and all communication services required by the work of the Executive Vice President and the Director of Student Affairs and Media.
13- Receiving college guests and coordinating with them before visits.
14- Organizing community partnership events such as: press conferences, exhibitions, and trips.
15- Any other tasks assigned by the Director of Student Affairs and Media
QUALIFICATIONS
1- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
2- Appropriate training courses
3- At least five years of experience
