ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic Head of Accounting, Consolidation & Tax in Berlin (hybrid possible) to lead our accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting across GROPYUS entities. This role will manage our consolidation processes, oversee audits, and guide tax strategy while driving compliance with IFRS and local standards. As a key leader, you’ll collaborate with senior management to support GROPYUS’ growth and vision of sustainable living
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Lead the accounting and tax team, ensuring timely monthly and annual financial reporting according to IFRS.
- Oversee the consolidation of all GROPYUS entities and collaborate closely with the FP&A team for accurate financial reporting.
- Set and maintain Group Accounting Standards (IFRS) in alignment with the CFO.
- Provide guidance on financial accounting standards and ensure compliance across the organization.
- Manage external audits and act as the primary contact for auditors.
- Oversee tax filings and audits for all GROPYUS entities, working closely with external tax advisors.
- Maintain and enhance the consolidation and reporting system (SAP S4 HANA), ensuring scalability.
- Lead the development of the Group’s transfer pricing policies and manage monthly reporting for the Executive and Supervisory Boards.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to support accounting matters and train new finance hires.
- Act as a deputy for the CFO on accounting, reporting, and tax issues.
