Head of Acquisition & Activation - 50750

How will I help?
As the Head of Acquisition & Activation with Cash & Transactional Banking Line of Business, you will be responsible in driving new everyday banking opportunities from acquisition through to customer activation (generate demand, originate and active) for consumer and bank cash & transactional banking customers.
You will lead the Acquisition & Activation village, working across the LoB with product owners, digital, marketing and other villages to drive optimal outcomes, including ongoing high levels of staff engagement, managing leadership and talent development.
Develop execution plans for short to medium horizon, to meet overall LoB strategy, design and implement optimised customer acquisition and onboarding programs. Build and leverage our digital capabilities to enable customers to choose that as their channel of choice and drive quality customer outcomes in key segments. Address customer pain points, that prevents them from becoming a main bank customer within the first 90 days. Manage end to end risks and customer outcomes across the Village.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Acquire and convert customers in target segments towards main bank relationship
  • Deepening customer relationships through supporting customers with additional needs, across both Cash & Transactional Banking products, as well as other products across the Westpac Group.
  • Develop and maintain the current state customer journey from Discover to Start phase by identifying and fixing customer and staff pain points and streamlining the process
  • Generate demand for everyday banking needs via distinct transaction and deposit (Savings & TDs) propositions and campaigns
  • Provide the best in class digitised experiences to drive acquisition, activation & onboarding across all channels
  • Ensure Customer Engagement can deliver the best customer experience to onboard customers
  • Ensure onboarding, origination and activation policies and processes are fit for purpose to deliver outcomes in strategic target segments
  • Be the business sponsor and lead the UNITE workstream to simplify our originations pathways
  • Manage acquisition and activation fulfilment platforms to ensure fit for purpose, viability and operability
  • Cross-channel go-to-market and engagement development and delivery for new Cash & Transactional Banking products
