SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree with 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or consulting industry.
- An existing network with stakeholders from the Austrian pharmaceutical market is a great advantage.
- Expertise in client delivery, project management, and business development.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with strong business development drive and strategic thinking.
- Hands-on consulting with strong issue-based and conceptual skills.

Responsibilities:
The Analytics & Consulting team at IQVIA advises pharmaceutical companies in Austria on market and sales strategies throughout a product’s life cycle, aiming to create value for brands and improve patient care. This includes market and competition analyses, development of market strategies, design of sales organizations, optimization of customer segmentation, and performance measurements. Primary market research is also a key component.
As Head of Analytics and Consulting, you will develop and deliver insightful, value-added strategies addressing complex client issues. As main point of contact for our customers you will identify and create new business opportunities, lead client engagements ensuring high client satisfaction, and provide follow-up with clients post-project. Offering direction and intellectual leadership to clients and teams, you will develop client reports and presentations, lead thought leadership and firm-building initiatives, and stay current on industry trends to anticipate new business challenges.
You will enhance awareness of consulting and analytics services through various engagements, mentor and coach team members, and participate in recruitment and performance review processes. You will initially be in a learning role, where the current team lead will provide comprehensive training before you assume full leadership responsibilities. Your role will involve growing team revenue at pharma and consumer health accounts in Austria, developing and selling client engagements across the IQVIA portfolio, and building close client relationships from operational to senior management levels. Ensuring delivery excellence for our clients is key.
