WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • As we grow, we are looking for a Head of Analytics to lead the evolution of our

industry-leading analytics capability to add value for our clients.

  • The Head of Analytics will lead the analytics function to develop and maintain our

market and asset models, manage our market data platform and champion

technological innovation.

  • As analytics lies at the core of our work, this role is integral to aligning technical

capabilities with the company’s strategic goals by ensuring the highest standards
in analytics and infrastructure and fostering a culture of innovation and
collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Core Analytical Capability:

o Oversee the development and maintenance of our suite of in-house
market and asset models to support client projects and internal analyses.
o Oversee the development and support for our proprietary LNG portfolio
analysis model (used for both internal analysis & external licensed clients).
o Lead the design, delivery, and maintenance of our market data platform,
ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
o Collaborate with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to identify, prioritize,

and deliver new features and capabilities.

  • Team Leadership:

o Manage, mentor, and develop the technical analyst team, setting clear
direction and priorities aligned with company objectives.
o Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

within the team.

  • Development Processes and Standards:

o Establish and maintain robust development, testing, and documentation
standards for internal models and tools.
o Ensure alignment with industry best practices to enhance efficiency,

reliability, and usability.

  • IT Infrastructure Management:

o Oversee the maintenance of model software infrastructure (e.g.,
repositories, data pipelines) and hardware (e.g., modeling machines,

databases & cloud platforms).

  • Champion Analytics & Tech Innovation:

o Drive the adoption of new technologies, particularly in AI and machine
learning, to enhance model capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
o Championing the development of analytical skills and application across
the wider company.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree in an appropriate quantitative and numerate subject.
  • Experience in the energy sector or a similar fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Proven track record in designing, developing and maintaining complex energy
    models and tools (e.g. based on optimization, stochastic etc. techniques) in

Python.

  • Experience implementing and maintaining robust model development processes

(e.g. coding and testing standards) and technical architecture (e.g. physical or

virtual machines).

  • Some familiarity with deploying and maintaining AI/ML solutions and cloud

infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) an advantage.

  • Current eligibility to work in the UK (although sponsorship will be considered for

outstanding candidates).

(including resource allocation and tracking).
