Description:

Role Introduction:
The Head of Bid’s will hold a key role in managing the successful delivery of all Bid and Tender activities and deliverables, you will partner with the rest of the Commercial function, the Commercial Units, and key stakeholders across Advanced ensuring the overall effectiveness of our Bid Strategy and operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute bid-winning strategies aligned with our business objectives
  • Driving bid execution, planning and governance around activities and deliverables
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activities
  • Partner with functional leadership from across One Advanced to support delivery of best in class bid management
  • Creation and maintenance of Bid Management policies, procedures, training manuals, and related resource material
  • Working with the Commercial Units to drive improved revenue generation through successful bids and RFPs
  • Lead cross-functional bid teams, inspiring them to perform at their best promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the bid team
  • Delivering high quality performance levels from Bid Management which deliver exceptional results and improved win rates
  • Management of cross functional projects on behalf of Bid Management
  • Development and maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on progress

Conduct post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement

What You Will Have:

  • Proven track record in bids and tenders, preferably within the SaaS domain
  • Experience with public sector procurement processes (e.g., G-Cloud framework in the UK)
  • APMP Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Project management expertise
  • Customer-focused, adaptable, and resilient
  • Passionate about winning and driving growth
  • The role requires considerable cross-functional collaboration and orchestration across different departments and contribute directly to the success of the business
