We now have an exciting new role for an experienced Head of Brand & Marketing. Reporting to the Marketing Director, with the support of the Executive, Senior Management team and Board of Trustees, you’ll lead brand, marketing, creative and digital teams from strategy through to delivery.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree qualified, preferably business related.
  • Proven experience of leading marketing and digital teams at a senior level.
  • Strong experience in brand strategy, planning and management of world class brand campaigns, including experience in high profile brands, ideally for a visitor attraction or not for profit organisation.
  • Extensive proven experience working in a fast paced and large organisational marketing leadership role and managing a team working across a range of disciplines and projects.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, audience strategies and behaviour change campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of the changing media and digital landscape, including dynamic pricing of media and sustainable practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing including social media, display, SEO, Google Merchant, websites, e-commerce, and associated analytics.
  • Experience in data management, risk assessments and compliance.
  • Knowledge of design, artwork and print production processes.
  • Extensive experience in marketing planning across the full marketing mix, from strategy through to campaign planning and evaluation.
  • Extensive experience in driving loyalty and growth across audience types.
  • Strong experience in identifying, developing, and communicating meaningful insight across the full marketing mix.
  • Leading, procurement and active management of agencies, the development of associated reports and approaches and selling in recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience managing (or working within) agencies including the negotiation and purchase of creative services and media.
  • Extensive experience in developing ATL campaigns including TV to a world class, award winning, level.
  • Experienced in income planning, forecasting, and managing large budgets, demonstrating clear ROI across activity.
  • Experience of providing reports to senior directors and trustees to inform decision making.
  • Leadership, team building and persuasion skills.
  • Highly strategic and business orientated.
  • Influencing skills .
  • Able to make quick decisions and lead outcomes .
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Statistical analysis and reporting skills.
  • Contract and serv.ice agreement negotiation skills.
    Although not essential, the following would be desirable:
    Experience of marketing Membership organisations and strategies.
    Experience of deputising for senior leadership preferable.
    Marketing Degree or Chartered Institute of Marketing certified.
