Lead the strategic direction of our BWS brand with a merchandise lens

As the Head of Brand Merchandise, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the BWS retail brand, driving sales and profit across all channels. You’ll serve as a key executive voice for Merchandise, influencing decisions across Marketing, Operations, eCommerce, and more. Additionally, you’ll oversee trade planning and the eCommerce P&L, ensuring alignment with category strategies and business goals.

- In this role, you’ll provide strategic leadership to the BWS and Merchandise teams, guiding the brand’s direction with a strong Merchandise focus.
- You’ll embed the merchandise strategy across the retail brand, ensuring alignment with key business objectives.
- You’ll collaborate with Heads of Categories and the Merch Leadership team to drive category strategies and initiatives.
- You’ll ensure category strategies align with customer shopping missions, local needs, and commercial priorities.
- You’ll take end-to-end accountability for the banner trade plan and P&L, driving sales, profit, and customer loyalty through insight-driven strategies.

- 10+ years partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and lead strategy, planning, and implementation.
- Proven experience (6+years) coaching leaders and managers in retail.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills paired with your drive to continuously improve our customers shopping experience and driving commercial outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in business
- Strong business acumen with deep retail, buying, and operational experience.
- Proven ability in growing digital and eCommerce channels, with a focus on customer insights.
