Description:
We’re on the lookout for a Head of Business Development who will oversee sales and account management in Peru, playing a crucial role in our go-to-market strategy. The partnerships we forge with our operators are the heartbeat of our success—they own the coaches and employ the drivers that keep our network running smoothly.
As the Head of Business Development, you will play a critical part in laying the groundwork for our ambitious growth targets in Peru through strategic partnerships. This position offers high visibility with leadership and the chance to collaborate with international business areas, putting you at the forefront of our expansion efforts.
You’ll also have the exciting opportunity to build, mentor, and coach your own talented team of Business Development Managers.

Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the full sales life cycle, from prospecting, signing, managing, and nurturing partnerships
- Establish, maintain and nurture relationships with operators across the market and act as a figurehead for FlixBus by building a strong FlixBus brand within the industry
- Track the commercial results of your lines and partners to push their profitability by optimizing their engagements
- Recruit, manage and develop a world-class team
- Implement best practices for sales and account management, including processes, tools, and KPIs
- Set and communicate clear targets and keep yourself and the team accountable for them
- Work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with Network Planning, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other parts of the organization
- Build a strong network in the transportation industry and represent FlixBus at various events and fairs
- Establish partnerships with industry suppliers to achieve better deals for our operators
- Establish relationship and represent Flix at industry associations
- Accountable for delivering on our growth targets and maintaining existing partnerships
