Description:

As the Head of Business Development, you have the opportunity to unleash your talent with us. In this role, you will lead and execute strategic initiatives to drive business growth. Join our Sales team and be a key player in shaping our success story.

These are your tasks

  • You support the optimization of our targeted commercial strategy across all relevant sales channels (On Trade, Off Trade, E-Commerce), with a specific focus on On-Trade due to its higher complexity.
  • You enhance relevant sales channels through strategic thinking, by developing new perspectives, better leveraging data, and creating a productive link between RGM and Finance.
  • You take the leading role in strategic projects and business cases, working closely with the sales leadership team, as well as the marketing, finance, and RGM functions.
  • You are fully responsible for the RTD sales strategy, its implementation, and acting as the key liaison with the RTD global business unit.
  • You maintain a close connection and exchange of information with the global business development unit at HQ.
  • You support the sales team in developing and articulating special projects and business cases, which you then present to the leadership and executive teams.
  • You coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency, make better use of available data, and continuously improve ways of working.
  • You report directly to the Sales Director, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

This is your profile

  • You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  • You have 10+ years of experience in Consulting and Business Development in FMCG environment.
  • You demonstrate strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • You possess proven knowledge in Go-To-Market/Route-to-Market strategies, Pricing & Trade Terms Strategy, and Growth Strategy.
  • You have experience in leading cross-departmental projects and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • You bring a high level of motivation and thrive in a collaborative, team-player environment, building internal and external networks effectively.
  • You communicate and present ideas clearly, with strong storytelling capabilities to engage leadership teams and HQ.
  • You understand and value customer needs, have experience working with field sales teams, and are willing to meet people in the field.
  • You have knowledge of the German retail and convenience channels, with an added advantage if familiar with on-trade channels.
  • You are proactive and demonstrate a strong hands-on mentality in all tasks.
  • You are capable of working with internal and external databases, as well as BI systems.
  • You are fluent in both English and German.
