Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the development and delivery of a coherent business intelligence/data strategy to meet the changing demands of the company strategy. This involves identifying data-driven opportunities, defining data governance frameworks, and establishing data management processes.
  • Lead a team of analysts to ensure the objectives of the function is being delivered in a high quality output to the business partners.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities across the business to optimise outcomes, predictive/forward looking analytics to identify trends and assist with scenario planning. Consult on the generation of new business and product innovation to ensure achievement of Camp Australia’s strategic plan and growth targets.
  • Research, analyse, and interpret complex data, develop alternatives and present findings and recommendations in support of company operations.
  • Advise and assist with strategic planning, policy and business analysis. ‘Deep dive’ analysis to support commercial decision making for specific initiatives and projects.
  • Work with data owners to ensure data quality through measurement, alerting and investigating outliers, and data error detection.
  • Design, build and launch reliable data tools and dashboards that provide real- time performance data and insights across operational teams.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Business Insights and Analysis (BIA) is responsible for leading the business insight function which leverages data to drive strategic and operational business decisions. It is their role to understand the commercial benefit, to leverage and protect the commercial value of the company’s data. The role with the BIA team will develop customer-centric data procedures and policies and work closely with all business units to collect, prepare, organize and analyse data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices.
