Description:
Work base: Norfolk Primary Care Head Office, Reed House, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF plus some working from home Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer Job Details: 37.5 hours per week (Full Time) 30 days leave per annum (pro rata) plus statutory bank holidays £65k per annum (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities: Development of a BI Strategy Objective: Establish a cohesive BI strategy, covering technology, hosting, and data governance. Key Deliverables: Strategy Document: Outline a BI strategy with short- and long-term plans for technology, infrastructure, and resources. Platform Selection: Identify scalable, secure BI tools compatible with existing systems. Hosting Solution: Determine and implement the most suitable hosting solution (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
Data Governance: Create policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance, including clear roles and responsibilities. Implementation Roadmap: Define milestones, timelines, and resources, monitoring progress and adapting as needed. Development and Embedding of Internal Management Information Reporting Objective: Enable effective delivery and performance monitoring across the organisation through accurate insights. Key Deliverables: Needs Assessment: Evaluate reporting requirements organization-wide, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Reporting Framework: Create a standardized framework for reporting types, frequency, and formats. Data Integration: Consolidate data sources into a unified warehouse with automated validation for accuracy. Dashboard Creation: Develop customisable, interactive dashboards for real-time KPI tracking. Training and Support: Provide training for report access and interpretation, alongside ongoing support.
Development of BI as a Service Objective: Enhance decision-making at General Practice level, aiding practices in resource acquisition and change advocacy. Key Deliverables: Service Definition: Define and communicate the scope and value of the BI as a Service offering. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with General Practices to co-create BI solutions addressing specific needs. Secure Data Access: Implement secure data-sharing practices in compliance with data regulations.
Custom Reporting: Design tailored reporting solutions, with training for practices to develop their own insights. Case Development Support: Assist practices with data-driven cases for resource allocation and improvement initiatives. Continuous Feedback: Set up mechanisms to refine the service in response to feedback and evolving needs
