Overview:
We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Nomad Foods! Joining us as the Head of Category for Marketing Communications, you’ll play a key role in working closely with the Marketing function to effectively manage the spend for their communications.
Responsibilities:

A key role within Nomad Foods Group Procurement team, you’ll own and execute the procurement strategy for Marketing Communications category. Ensuring goods and services are procured in a sustainable and ethical way, whilst optimising costs, maintaining quality standards and mitigating supply chain risks.

  • Ownership of marketing communication spend.
  • Managing and improving supplier relationship from a strategic and hands on perspective.
  • Ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing methods for the category, working closely with wider procurement and marketing teams.
  • Manage both directly and indirectly a team to ensure all projects are completed on time.Deliver strong commercial value to both marketing and procurement teams.

  • Qualifications:

We need a proactive self-starter who can build strong, meaningful relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and multiple geographies. A persuasive manner with the ability to both challenge and influence internal stakeholders and suppliers alike are crucial. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, but structured, environment, together with a strong bias for action to deliver against both deadlines and financial targets. The curiosity and appetite to challenge the status-quo are essential to succeed.

  • Proven experience of Marketing Procurement within an FMCG business is essential.
  • CIPS qualification or working experience is highly desirable for the role.
  • Proven experience of working in a procurement function within a matrix organisation.
  • Must have strong experience of delivering commercial value through negotiation, supplier management and commercial awareness.
  • Management experience is essential.
