Responsibilities:

  • Certification Lead: Develop and lead the overall certification, credit, and MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) strategy and a team of experts and scientists. Ensure credits meet company goals, quality standards, and evolving market and regulatory requirements, maintaining sound unit economics.
  • Team Collaboration: Design and lead effective collaboration with the Klim farmer-, business-development-, finance-, and product teams on all certification-related tasks to ensure all activities are aligned and fulfil the individual teams and customer’s needs.
  • Regulatory 360°: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both insetting and offsetting regulatory developments and trends to derive key strategic and tactical insights, forming conclusions and recommendations for Klim.
  • Market Standards Influence: Influence relevant national and international market standards to shape the operating environment for our certification program.
  • Sales Interaction: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer and market needs.
  • Customer Advisory: Provide expert advice on our certification process during engagements with both prospective and existing corporate clients, such as Food Retailers, large CPGs, and other stakeholders in the food value chain.
  • Effective Communication: Present findings to a multidisciplinary audience, including the Senior Management Team, with expertise and confidence.
  • Reporting, Inventory and Registry Management: Deliver certification program results to clients on time. Manage internal inventory and third-party public registry activities to prevent risks like double counting.
