Responsibilities:

SOME OF YOUR SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE:

  • Lead and manage a large Claims team inclluding senior claims handlers.
  • Manage the handling of all standard and complex claims within UK Financial Lines.
  • Ensure claims are handled in line with Allianz Commercial Claims Standards procedures and guidelines.
  • Utilise third party service providers to achieve economical results and to provide a high quality service to all internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Promote a customer focused approach to Claims Handling that enforces Claims’ position as a key value proposition and support UW and Distribution in selling Allianz Commercial products and services.
  • Seek continual improvements to Claims process to ensure efficiency allowing lower claims management costs and to allow claims handlers to focus on providing excellent customer experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Extensive experience in Financial Lines claims management within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Financial Lines insurance products, policies, and claims processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
