THIS ROLE REQUIRES A DYNAMIC INDIVIDUAL WITH A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF BOTH CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) . THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DRIVE STRATEGIC ADOPTION, INTEGRATION, AND OPTIMIZATION OF CLOUD SOLUTIONS TO OPTIMISE TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTIVITY AND SUPPORT BUSINESS GOALS AND INNOVATION.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead and manage a diverse team of over 100 technical experts across various areas, including Data Center, Server/Storage, Networks, Software, Databases, Cloud Services, Security Services, ITSM, and shared services
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting professional growth and development
• Facilitate and grow excellent collaboration with other IT and Business units
• Develop and implement the cloud strategy (private, hybrid, public; IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Build a platform ready for cloud-native apps based on Kubernetes (K8S) with a full stack of components supporting microservices and CI/CD
• Oversee the migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Manage cloud service providers and ensure robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
• Implement best practices for cloud governance, security, and cost management
• Leverage knowledge of virtualization, software-defined infrastructure, and private/public/hybrid cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, SaaS)
• Lead multi-cloud management and deployment, focusing on cloud automation and orchestration
• Apply understanding of serverless architecture (BaaS, FaaS) and DevOps/DevSecOps principles
• Utilize knowledge of containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD frameworks
• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies and cloud provider selection
• Implement cloud cost control measures and optimize cloud spending
• Utilize Linux and programming skills for advanced cloud management tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the optimal architecture for the cloud-based infrastructure – planning and implementation of necessary changes to improve resilience, reliability, scalability, performance and availability of the services
• Manage the adoption and integration of private and public cloud solutions
• Plan and implement necessary changes to improve resilience and availability of services and enhance maintenance to less-effort approach through automation and standardization of infrastructure operations
