Responsibilities:

We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned and strategic leader to take on the position of Head of Commercial Finance & Social Infrastructure within our Wealth & Capital Markets division. This is your chance to thrive in a complex corporate environment, driving strategic financial planning and partnering with top executives to shape the future of social infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Steer the strategic financial planning and analysis for Wealth & Capital Markets, ensuring our financial strategies are robust and forward-thinking.
  • Executive Partnership: Work closely with the Executive General Manager of Social Infrastructure, acting as a trusted commercial partner.
  • Innovate and Navigate: Showcase your exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, and financial insights.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Seamlessly connect with Australian Unity’s Group’s enabling functions and business platforms, driving cohesive strategies and initiatives.
  • Focus on Impact: Lead strategic initiatives in the Social Infrastructure unit, including social infrastructure funds, retirement communities, and the Herston Quarter health and wellbeing precinct.
  • Drive Excellence: Partner with Wealth & Capital Markets leadership, particularly the Social Infrastructure team, to provide strategic and commercial leadership, execution capability, project finance, M&A support and foster a community of practice.
