We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercial Pediatric Oncology to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive senior-level experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing in the Nordics, particularly in oncology or rare diseases, with a demonstrated track record of strategic commercial leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare system in the Nordics, including knowledge of health insurance operations and the broader healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Head of Commercial Pediatric Oncology will play a critical role in devising and implementing the commercial strategy for Norgine’s oncology and rare disease offerings. The role demands strategic leadership, effective team management, and a dedicated focus on achieving market growth and financial goals in alignment with Norgine’s broader corporate objectives.
The position reports to the General Manager Nordics.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

  • Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a tailored commercial strategy to ensure successful market penetration and sustained growth of Norgine’s products.

  • Market Presence Establishment:

Drive Norgine’s footprint in the oncology market, initiating strategic product launches planned for the coming years.

  • Team Development and Management:

Lead the formation of a dedicated team aimed at introducing transformative treatments, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Sales and Marketing Excellence:

Propel commercial activities to meet or exceed annual revenue targets by developing and executing innovative marketing and sales strategies specific to the market.

  • Product Launch and Management:

Manage the launch processes for new products to ensure effective market entry, rapid uptake, and robust establishment within the healthcare system.

  • Market Access Collaboration

Collaborate closely with Market Access to negotiate with health insurance funds and secure optimal reimbursement and placement for Norgine’s products.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups, to enhance Norgine’s market presence and product acceptance.

  • Performance Metrics and Market Analysis:

Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and product performance, adjusting strategies to maximise market share.

  • Budget Management:

Manage and oversee budgets for commercial projects and customer-related activities, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and financial sustainability.
