HEAD OF COMMERCIAL PLANNING & EXECUTION, BC (COPENHAGEN)

Are you ready to help set the commercial direction in our Business Customers unit - and lead data-driven commercial initiatives in one of the largest banks in the Nordics to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets? Then you might be our new Head of Commercial Planning and Execution.
As our new Head of Commercial Planning and Execution, you will play a key role in achieving the ambitious growth targets outlined in our Forward ’28 strategy through increased proactivity. You will lead a team of 9 colleagues – a mix of commercial planners and data analysts. Together, you will be responsible for planning and executing various commercial initiatives to meet our commercial targets, in close collaboration with stakeholders across Danske Bank.
You will be part of our Strategy Execution & Commercial Excellence team in Business Customers. The team comprises 35 highly skilled and enthusiastic colleagues across the Nordics, responsible for driving the execution of our Forward ’28 strategy and the commercial agenda. The team includes three sub-teams: ‘Strategy Execution’, ‘Analytics & Web’ and ‘Commercial Planning and Execution’.

EXPERIENCED LEADER ABLE TO CREATE FOLLOWERSHIP AND BRING HIGH AMBITIONS TO LIFE

To be a good match for this position you should have:

  • Substantial experience from working with commercial excellence
  • A good understanding of the business customer segment – preferably from the financial sector
  • Experienced leader with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to set a clear direction and prioritise commercial activities together with stakeholders across different levels
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Strong execution capabilities to drive the commercial agenda
  • Ability to leverage data to improve and execute commercial activities

Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be crucial to create followership, to drive change and to inspire enthusiasm in your team and across the organization.
The role requires advanced proficiency in English as you will engage with various stakeholders on all levels across the Nordic countries.
