Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Head of Compliance is a senior leadership role reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Compliance Management Framework across the Group.
This diverse position also includes reporting to boards, board committees and management with opportunity to grow the function’s scope to make a positive impact on the organisation.
This role will suit a sophisticated, commercial compliance professional, who can strongly lead a talented and motivated Compliance Team and strategically partner with our business; to deliver best-in-class compliance advice and solutions in a meaningful way.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Leading and developing the Compliance Team to support the business and managing the team’s and individual, performance and development goals.
  • Managing the Group’s Compliance Management Framework.
  • Providing commercially sound compliance advice on compliance issues and risks.
  • Proactively managing Compliance Plans and AFSLs for Group entities and managed funds.
  • Fulfilling the role of AML/CTF Officer and managing the Group’s Whistleblower Program.
  • Monitoring regulatory change, advising boards (or board committees) and management of implications of regulatory change and assisting the business to implement appropriate controls, policies and processes.
  • Chairing the Privacy Committee and reporting and presenting to other boards, committees and senior management.
