What we are looking for?
We are seeking a Whole School Head of ICT/Computing to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation, development, and management of the ICT and Computing curriculum across both primary and secondary levels. This role involves collaborating with teachers, leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning practices.
- Has a undergraduate degree or major in Computer Science/Information Technology with PGCE in Secondary
- Has experience teaching in a British School/British Curriculum School.
- Has experience of teaching AQA, Edexcel or equivalent British exam boards .
- Has experience of teaching BTEC & A level computer science.
- Has evidence of ‘Outstanding’ teaching practice, or the ability to become outstanding
- Is confident in planning engaging, student-led lessons
- Is an expert in their subject and has the passion to inspire a love of learning in students
- Has the ability to use classroom technology to enrich the learning experience of your students
- Is an excellent team player, willing to contribute significantly to the department
- Is willing to make a contribution to the extracurricular life of the school
